BAND STORY: 
The band's lead songwriter (hey, there's only two of us right now). Graduated with a BS degree in Agricultural Economics (only one school in the country offers this so your guess is as good as mine) he slaves away at a day job working as a financial analyst for a real estate firm. Abet has been playing guitar for over 14 years and has played in about 4 other bands in the past since 1991. He had to quit  in 1996 due to failing academics (and uber pissed parents) wherein he and drummer Moi dela Resma were members of the thrash metal (we like to believe we were 'thrash" :) "Braindead".

With graduation and finally landing a job, Abet found out that aside from spending on anime and videogames (which soon enough became absolutely uninteresting) he and Moi while drinking at a local store decided to try playing music again with equipment that can now be funded with their day jobs. This hairbrained idea was concocted some time late 2000 (OK, I guess I was just sour at the time cause I dont have enough to buy a PS2) . 

While getting the gear they need, Abet eventually stumbled into home recording via the Internet. From there the SHINING HATHAWAY eXPERIMENT was born as a continuing program which seeks to find cheaper and more cost-effective yet still quality controlled solutions to the recording and distribution of music by Independent bands and songwriters in the Philippines.

BAND STORY:
Moi used to be the vocalist for a band they formed for the sake of joining a gig in their hometown (with Abet and another of their neighbors). After that while jamming at the local church (GOOD LORD!) Moi was noticed to have an affinity for the drums (that and he had nothing else to do). It was an instant transition.

Moi has been one of those people with extreme music tastes ranging from soft jazz to grindcore. He graduated with a BS degree in Mechanical Technology and now works as a planner for Coca Cola Bottlers (but his drink of choice is beer). He played as drummer in the band 'Braindead' and was one of the central music influences (sheesh, he owns all the tapes of the bands we covered!). Six years after the band's breakup (it wasn't pretty) he was the one who suggested to Abet (guess he was bored of playing his PS too) that they try to make music again. Nothing too serious, just a jam at weekends to get that stressful week out of the head for a two hours. It didn't end there. With compositions piling up Moi decided to gun for better equipment, and again on one of those tell-tale drinking sessions, he co-hatched a weird plan to record and distribute the music with Abet (guess it was too much beer).

OTHER STUFF:
Aside from playing drums, Moi likes movies (watches one or two in a theater every week) and plays video games. Drinks beer but tries not to get too drunk (fails about 50% of the time) and loves basketball and sports (he's better than Abet at this, though not by much).
